The Serifon initiative was developed in partnership with students at Sussex Downs College and formerly Lewes Tertiary College.
Serifon - which spells 'No Fires' backwards was first introduced in the form of a play which was written by the Performing Arts department at Lewes Tertiary College. This play was used to teach
children of Primary School age about Fire Safety in a fun and exciting way.
To compliment the work done by the Performing Arts
students, the Multimedia HND students at Sussex Downs College
have made a series of interactive learning presentations (cartoons
and video clips) using Macromedia Flash and published them on
the Serifon website hosted by the College. The work is also available
on DVD and details of how to get a copy are also available on
the Serifon website.
