FiReControl FireLink Project News

FiReControl and FireLink Projects.

The FiReControl project is working to move from the existing system of 46 local control rooms in England into 9 new networked Regional Control Centres. Business Fire Safety Training.

We offer a number of Fire training courses for the business community which aim to improve awareness and encourage delegates to give greater consideration to fire safety at their place of work. Visit our Commercial Training Page for further details.

 

Home Fire Safety Visits

Free Home Fire Safety Visits.

Home Fire Safety Visits are carried out by East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service personnel to help raise fire safety standards and reduce the number of deaths and injuries that occur in the home. A visit will involve checking for any potential fire hazards, giving advice where necessary and fitting a smoke detector if applicable.

Requests can now be made online, and we are particular interested in attending the properties of 'at risk' groups, such as the elderly or single parent families. You can request a visit for yourself or on behalf of a friend or neighbour online here or by phoning 0845 230 0252.

The Friends Gathering Page

Old Friends Gathering.

East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service Mess Club, in conjunction with the National Association of Retired Firefighters (East Sussex) organised a gathering of retired employees on 28 June 2007. The event created the opportunity to re forge links with our former members and develop methods for future networking and support for past Service personnel. ESFRS Triathlon Photographs and Results

East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service in association with Esporta Health and Racquet Club organise an annual Triathlon. This years event was held on Sunday 20th May when competitors completed a 400 metre Swim, a 28km Cycle and a 5km Run.
