East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service have attended a fire in Lewes.
We were called at 12.42 today (12 January 2024) to reports of a kitchen fire at flats on Station Street.
As of 1.40pm, all persons have been accounted for.
Four fire engines are at the scene along with officers.
Smoke affected several floors of the building and firefighters used breathing apparatus during the incident.
Welfare checks are being carried out on all those who live within the block.
