On Monday 2nd March 2009 at 2pm, East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service will be holding a routine exercise at the Southview building on Upperton Road, Eastbourne.

East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service would like to advise members of the public not to be alarmed if they notice a number of fire appliances in the area. This valuable exercise has been designed to allow firefighters to practice current firefighting procedures 'on-location'.

The Service will make every effort to keep disruption in the area to an absolute minimum and will endeavour to conclude the exercise as soon as they can. This exercise should last approximately three hours.
