Have you retired from the Fire Service and miss the good old days? Then why not come along to the third Friends Gathering to enjoy colleagues' company over a buffet lunch and have the chance to reminisce, swap stories and catch up with old friends?

East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service Mess Club, in conjunction with the National Association of Retired Firefighters (East Sussex) and the Fire Fighters Charity, invite you and your partner to a retired employees gathering on 12th August 2009. The event will be held at the Service's Training Centre on Batts Bridge Road, Maresfield between 11am-3pm.

The event is offered to anyone who has retired from the Service since 1974 and will provide presentations of new fire and rescue techniques and an opportunity to see some of the new equipment and appliances that are used in the Service today.
