East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service was pleased to hold a stand at the Heathfield Show on Saturday 23rd May. The Heathfield Show is one of the South East's most popular one-day agricultural shows and features a large range of displays, stands and entertainment.

The day proved very successful for the Service with large numbers of the attendees passing through the stand to receive important safety messages. Personnel from Heathfield and Mayfield community fire stations were on hand alongside the Animal Rescue Unit from Crowborough community fire station. Also in attendance were the Wealden Borough Community Safety Team.

In addition, East and West Sussex Fire & Rescue Services' FireBikes were proudly displayed at the Sussex Safer Roads Partnership's stand to promote key bike safety awareness.

Furthermore, East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service was excited to discover that their stand was awarded the runner up prize in the show's trade stand contest!
