Seaford community fire station will be collaborating with Downs Leisure Centre to host a joint Open Day on Sunday 5th July.

The event will be held at Downs Leisure Centre in Seaford and will provide important fire and road safety messages as well as the chance to see a fire appliance close up and an opportunity to discuss free Home Safety Visits with the Community Safety Team.

In addition, Downs Leisure Centre will be raising awareness of the sport and leisure facilities available at the centre.

Both East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service and Downs Leisure Centre hope that this partnership will effectively promote combined health and safety messages to all those who attend.

The event is free of charge and will run from 10am - 4pm at Downs Leisure Centre on Sutton Road in Seaford on Sunday 5th July 2009.
