After three months of seeking the public's view on East Sussex Fire Authority's 'Rural Review', the Fire Authority will be meeting on 21 October at 10:30 am to discuss the outcomes and finalise the recommendations. Extensive consultation has been undertaken on the recommended changes to how ESFRS provide their Services, which resulted after a year long review of fire cover in the districts of Lewes, Rother and Wealden.
Following full consideration of the views, opinions and suggestions from staff and the public, the Fire Authority will now consider the report on the rural review and recommendations contained within that report.
East Sussex Fire Authority, Chairman, Councillor Ted Kemble said: "East Sussex Fire Authority would like to thank the public, our partners and staff, for their pro-active involvement in providing us with their carefully considered views in creating a fire & rescue service fit for the future."
