Firefighters

Becoming a Firefighter could be the first step toward a richly rewarding and varied career within the modern Fire Service. You will be trained to respond to incidents such as fires, road traffic collisions and animal rescues. A Retained Firefighter is a person who may already have an ordinary job, but is trained and available to perform an extraordinary job the moment that a call comes. Support Staff

A career in East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service does not always mean joining us as a firefighter. With over 800 staff across the county we can also offer careers within our team of support staff.
