East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service Mess Club, in conjunction with the National Association of Retired Firefighters (East Sussex) and the Firefighters Charity, would like to invite you and your partner to a gathering of retired employees to be held on:

Friday 20 September 2013, 1100hrs - 1500hrs, at the Service Training Centre in Maresfield.

The invitation is to anyone who has retired from East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service, East Sussex Fire Brigade or any of the local derivatives prior to amalgamation in 1974.

It's an to opportunity to reforge links with our former members and build on the network of support started in 2007, so please feel free to spread the word to any colleagues you are still in touch with.

There will be presentations about the modern fire & rescue service and as usual there will be an opportunity to teach us about some of the incidents you attended and what lessons we might have forgotten and can relearn.

As always at these events you will be able to view the growing collection old photographs and memorabilia.
