Freedom of Information Requests
Update March 2020 - Coronavirus: it is possible that we will take more than 20 working days to supply information under Freedom of Information or Environment Information Regulations.
The Information Commissioner recognises that longer time may be needed when NFRS staff have to prioritise other work to keep services running during the Coronavirus situation.
Thank you for your patience.
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), Public Authorities must be clear and proactive about the information they publish. To comply with this Act, we are placing an increasing amount of information on this website.
To assist with accessing data on this website, and in-line with the recommendations of the Information Commissioners Office (ICO), we have structured our About Us page using the following headings;
- Who we are
- What we do
- What we spend and how we spend it
- What our priorities are and how we are doing
- How we make decisions
- Our Policies and Procedures
- Lists and Registers
You are entitled to ask us for information which is not available on our website or exempt under the FOIA.
Before making a Freedom of Information request you might like to view our disclosure log of previous requests, some of which may provide the information you are looking for.
As an alternative we have a number of lists, registers and data files that may also have the information you are looking for.
If you would like to make a request we have a guide that provides key information about how to do so under the Freedom of Information Act.
To make a Freedom of Information request email firstname.lastname@example.org.
