Fire- Hawth Way, Seaford

Date : 03 April 2019

At 17:51, firefighters from Seaford, Newhaven, Lewes, Eastbourne and Brighton attended a fire in a residential building on Hawth Way, Seaford.  

Crews are currently using six breathing apparatus, one Hose Reel Jet, two Main Jets and 1 in 7 foam to extinguish the fire.  

All persons are accounted for.  One casualty was handed over in to the care of SECAMB after suffering smoke inhalation.  

Update (20:02)- The fire is now being downsized to three appliances.  It is believed that the fire emanated from the first floor bedroom of the property.  Crews are currently carrying out salvage.
