East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service is currently at Lewes Castle following reports of a wall collapsing in the Old Coach House at 12.22 today.
Firefighters are working to check the area to ensure that no-one needs rescuing.
The area affected is approximately 10m by 10m – with an estimated 600 tonnes of stonework and other materials.
A crew are working to check area, alongside Sussex Police, to ensure that no-one needs rescuing.
