East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service have brought in some new faces to help children learn about safety and encourage them to think about becoming a firefighter when they grow up.
Firefighters Willow and Theo have joined Franky the Firefighter, all being led by Crew Manager Nevin.
Each have their own area of expertise and have a fun challenge for children to download from the website www.esfrs.org/crew
Chief Fire Officer Dawn Whittaker said:
“We want to inspire young children to consider becoming firefighters. It’s especially important for them to see the whole range of work we carry out – that’s why we’ve got challenges on everything from home safety to water safety. We’d love to hear from children once they’ve completed the challenges – grown ups can share them on our Twitter and Facebook accounts.”
