Overnight incident round-up 20th June
Overnight, East Sussex Fire and Rescue attended a variety of incidents:-
- At 19:49, firefighters from Hove and Brighton attended Queens Gardens, Hove to assist SECAMB with the extrication of a casualty with a broken hip from a second floor apartment. On person was extricated and handed over in to the care of SECAMB.
- At 20:37, Eastbourne firefighters attended a residential property on Oxendean Gardens, Lower Willingdon following reports of a person stuck on the top of a porch. Crews used a triple extension ladder to reach the person and bring them down to safety.
- At 20:53, Eastbourne firefighters attended a fire in the open on Wartling Road, Eastbourne. Crews used one Hose Reel Jet to extinguish the fire.*
- At 21:06, Eastbourne firefighters attended a fire in the open on Winchelsea Road, Eastbourne. Crews used one Hose Reel Jet to extinguish the fire.*
- At 21:54, Eastbourne firefighters attended a church on Seaside, Eastbourne following reports of a bin fire. Crews used one Hose Reel Jet to extinguish the fire.*
- At 23:03, Eastbourne firefighters attended Allfrey Road, Eastbourne following reports of a bin fire. Crews used one Hose Reel Jet to extinguish the fire.*
- At 00:04, Eastbourne firefighters attended a bin fire on Allfrey Road, Eastbourne. Crews used one Hose Reel Jet to extinguish the fire.*
