Overnight incident round-up 21st May
Overnight, East Sussex Fire and Rescue attended a variety of incidents:-
- At 17:14, Eastbourne firefighters attended a fire in the open on Adur Drive, Stone Cross. Crews used a flexi pack to extinguish the fire.
- At 17:29, firefighters from Roedean, Brighton, Hove, Lewes together with firefighters from West Sussex Fire and Rescue attended a kitchen fire at a property on Clarendon Road, Hove. Crews extinguished the fire on the 9th floor of a high rise. Crews then carried out a Home Safety Visit.
- At 18:14, Brighton firefighters attended an RTC involving one motorbike on Viaduct Road, Brighton. Crews made the scene safe and one casualty was handed over in to the care of SECAMB.
- At 18:29, firefighters from Eastbourne and Pevensey attended an RTC involving two vehicles on Latimer Road, Eastbourne. Crews released one casualty and handed them over in to the care of SECAMB.
- At 19:54, firefighters from Hastings and The Ridge attended a fire in the open on Castle Hill Road, Hastings. Crews used a landrover to access the fire and one hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire.
- At 20:12, Eastbourne firefighters attended a fire in the open on Faversham Road, Eastbourne. Crews used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
- At 21:53, firefighters from Heathfield attended an RTC involving one vehicle on Little London Road, Heathfield. Crews made the scene safe and one casualty was left in the care of SECAMB.
- At 04:06, firefighters from Hastings attended a fire in the open on Maunsell Road, St Leonards-on-Sea. Crews used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
