Overnight incident round-up 22nd March
Overnight, East Sussex Fire and Rescue attended a variety of incidents:
- At 19:43, firefighters from Hastings attended Laton Road, Hastings following reports of a burst water main affecting three neighbouring roads. Crews made the scene safe.
- At 19:54, Crowborough firefighters carried out an animal rescue at a residential property on Millbrook Road, Crowborough. Crews released a puppy who had trapped its head in the bars of a dog gate.
- At 20:53, firefighters from Newhaven attended a fire in the open on Fort Road, Newhaven. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
- At 20:59, firefighters from Hastings, The Ridge, Bexhill, Battle and Broad Oak attended a fire in a high rise building on Stonehouse Drive, St Leonards on Sea. Crews extinguished a small bin fire.
- At 23:57, firefighters from Roedean and Brighton attended a hotel on The Drive, Hove following reports of persons shut in a lift. Crews released one person.
