Overnight incident round-up 26th July
Overnight, East Sussex Fire and Rescue attended a variety of incidents:-
- At 18:03, Brighton firefighters attended a fire in the open on Madeira Drive, Brighton. Crews used fire buckets to extinguish the fire.
- At 18:11, Hastings firefighters attended a fire in the open on Jameson Crescent, St Leonards. Crews used one Hose Reel to extinguish the fire.
- At 18:50, firefighters from Hastings, The Ridge and Bexhill attended a fire in the open on Chambers Road, St Leonards. Crews used one Hose Reel Jet to extinguish the fire.
- At 22:46, firefighters from Seaford attended a bin fire on The Esplanade, Seaford. Crews used fire buckets to extinguish the fire.
- At 23:27, Brighton firefighters attended a residential property on Queens Park Road, Brighton to carry out an animal rescue. Crews used an Aerial Ladder Platform to reach a trapped seagull. Crews rescued the gull and released it.
- At 23:34, Eastbourne firefighters attended Butchers Hole Car Park, Jevington following reports of a car fire. Crews used one Breathing Apparatus and 1 in 7 foam to extinguish the fire.
