Overnight incident round-up 29th March
Overnight, East Sussex Fire and Rescue attended a variety of incidents:

At 19:33, firefighters from Seaford attended a fire in the open on Alfriston Road, Seaford. Firefighters used buckets and a flex pack to extinguish the fire.

At 19:33, firefighters from The Ridge and Hastings attended a shed fire on Battle Road, St Leonards. Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

At 19:51, firefighters from Preston Circus and Roedean attended a building on Old Steine, Brighton following reports of people shut in a lift. Two people were released.

At 20:46, firefighters from Roedean and Preston Circus attended a road traffic collision on Falmer Road, Brighton. Crews made the scene safe.

At 21:38, firefighters from Hastings attended a flood in a building on White Rock, Hastings. Firefighters isolated the leak.

At 22:20, firefighters from Preston Circus attended a wheelie bin fire on Holland Road, Hove. Firefighters used one hose reel jet and one hydrant to extinguish the fire.

At 01:41, firefighters from Newhaven, Seaford and Lewes attended a fire in a hotel on The Drove. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke.
