Overnight incident round-up 6th August
Overnight, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended a variety of incidents:-
- At 19:00, firefighters from Heathfield and Crowborough attended an RTC involving two vehicles on High Street, Heathfield. No persons were trapped. Crews carried out traffic management and made the scene safe.
- At 19:58, Brighton firefighters attended an RTC on The Avenue, Brighton. One car had hit a tree. One casualty was removed before arrival and was receiving medical attention. Crews used one Hose Reel to extinguish the fire. The casualty was left in the care of SECAMB.
- At 20:23, firefighters from Newhaven and Roedean attended a barn fire on Lewes Road, Piddinghoe. Crews used two Breathing Apparatus, 1 in 7 foam and one Main Jet to extinguish the fire which had emanated from a tractor.
- At 21:45, Brighton firefighters attended a flooding affecting electrics at a property on Albion Hill, Brighton. Crews isolated the flood and electrics.
