Overnight incident round-up 8th January
Overnight, East Sussex Fire and Rescue attended a variety of incidents:-
- At 16:27, firefighters from Barcombe and Lewes attended an RTC involving one caron Ditchling Road, Offham. Crews made the scene safe. One person was handed over in to the care of SECAMB.
- At 20:38, Brighton firefighters attended an oil spillage on Hodshrove Lane, Brighton. Crews used sand to clean up the spillage.
- At 23:01, firefighters from Brighton attended a residential property on Bartholemew Square, Brighton following reports of persons shut in a lift. Crews released one person.
- At 01:58, Eastbourne firefighters attended a car fire on Pembury Road, Eastbourne. Crews used one breathing apparatus and one high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire.
- At 04:21, firefighters from Brighton, Hove and Roedean attended a residential property on Varndean Drive, Brighton following reports of a fire. Crews used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one main jet to extinguish the fire. All persons were accounted for. The incident was handed over to the Police.
