Overnight, East Sussex Fire and Rescue attended the following incidents:-
Fires
- At 19:11, firefighters from Roedean and Brighton attended the ice rink at the Royal Pavillion, Brighton following reports of a fire in the basement. Crews used two breathing apparatus and CO2 to extinguish the fire which had emanated from an electrical intake.
- At 22:59, The Ridge firefighters attended a fire in the open on Main Road, Icklesham. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
- At 23:01, firefighters from Roedean attended a bin fire on Stone Street, Brighton. Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
- At 23:09, Brighton firefighters attended a bin fire on Regency Square, Brighton. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
- At 23:37, Brighton firefighters attended a bin fire on Montpelier Road, Brighton. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
- At 03:41, Hastings firefighters attended a fire in the open on Pevensey Road, St Leonards. Crews used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Floods
- At 16:51, firefighters from Roedean attended a flooding at a residential property on Church Place, Brighton. Crews isolated the leak and made the scene safe.
- At 02:53, Hove firefighters attended a residential property on Adelaide Crescent, Hove. Crews isolated the leak.
