At 00:06 East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service sent four appliances plus the Aerial Ladder Platform to a fire affecting the rear of a two storey building in Oxford St Brighton.
Crews are using four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one hydrant to extinguish the fire.
