Fires can happen within the home for a variety of reasons as seen by last night’s callouts:

  • At 18.13 yesterday (27 January) three appliances were sent to a small fire in a cooker at a property in London Road, Bexhill. Everyone was accounted for and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to tackle the fire. Two residents were treated, after breathing in smoke from the fire. A Home Safety Visit was carried out at the property.
