Overnight Incident Round-Up 25 February

East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service attended the following overnight incidents:

  •  At 17.55 yesterday (24 February) two appliances were sent to rescue one person from a lift at a property in Donald Hall Road, Brighton. 
  • At 18.28 yesterday (24 February) a crew were sent to assist with the flooding of a radiator in a bathroom. Firefighters isolated the leak and made the area safe. Advice was also given to the owner. 
  • At 18.51 yesterday (24 February) a crew were sent to Winfield Avenue, in Brighton, after a resident was locked out of a property, with food left in the oven. 
  • At 20.02 yesterday (24 February) an appliance was sent to deal with a small car fire in Barcombe Road, Brighton, which was out on arrival. 
  • At 22.31 yesterday (24 February) an appliance was sent to a property in Holmesdale Gardens, in Hastings, which turned out to be a false alarm. 
  • At 22.43 yesterday (24 February) a crew were mobilised to a property in Western Road, Crowborough, where they dealt with flooding caused by a burst pipe. No action was taken but advice was given. 
  • At 23.24 yesterday (24 February) two appliances were sent to a false alarm at a property in Queens Road, Brighton, which transpired to be a false alarm.
