East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service were called to the following overnight incidents:
- At 18.13 yesterday (27 January) three appliances were sent to a small fire in a cooker at a property in London Road, Bexhill. Everyone was accounted for and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to tackle the fire. Two residents were treated, after breathing in smoke from the fire. A Home Safety Visit was carried out at the property.
- At 21.07 yesterday (27 January) a crew were sent to tackle a chimney fire at a property in Eley Drive, Rottingdean, Brighton.
- At 2.08 this morning (28 January) an appliance was sent to a small vehicle fire in Tenantry Down Road, Brighton.
- At 6.10 this morning (28 January) two appliances were mobilised to River Hall Hill, Wadhurst, following reports of a road traffic collision involving one car. Paramedics attended.
