Overnight incident round-up 28th February
Overnight, East Sussex Fire and Rescue attended a variety of incidents:-
- At 18:40, Hastings firefighters attended a property on Havelock Road, Hastings following reports of a dangerous structure. Firefighters secured shutters which were overhanging a public pathway.
- At 18:52, Bexhill firefighters attended a fire in the open on Millfield, Ninfield. Crews used one Hose Reel to extinguish the fire. The cause is believed to have been accidental.
- At 20:36, firefighters from Hove and Brighton attended a residential building on Courtenay Terrace, Hove following reports of persons shut in a lift. Crews released two people.
- At 21:11, Brighton firefighters attended a residential building on Ditchling Road, Brighton following reports of persons shut in a lift. Crews released four people.
- At 05:20, Crowborough firefighters attended an RTC involving two vehicles on Argos Hill, Rotherfield. One casualty was handed over into the care of SECAMB. Crews made the scene safe.
