East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is scaling back its operation at a recycling site in Lewes.
A fire was reported at 5.05 this morning 9 April 2021, affecting around 250 tonnes of waste metal at the site on Southerham Lane.
At the height of the incident six fire engines were on scene.
This has been scaled back to three fire engines.
The site is being handed over to its owners.
A re-inspection is planned from 1pm.
