We were pleased to be part of the East Sussex Women of the Year Luncheon, celebrating the contribution made by local women.
The event, whose honorary patron this year is HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, showcased the enterprise and inspiration of women working in professional and voluntary roles and their contribution to the local area.
The attendees from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were Chief Fire Officer Dawn Whittaker, Assistant Director and chair of Women in the Fire Service Jules King, Democratic Services lead Abi Blanshard, Performance and Intelligence Manager Sharon Milner and Communications Manager Elizabeth Curtis.
Former English footballer Hope Powell and Christine Laing QC addressed the event, which was hosted at the Amex Stadium.
