We were called at 00:33 (6th Jan) to attend a fire at a residential property on Adams Lane, Northiam.
Firefighters from The Ridge, Hastings, Battle, Bexhill, Rye and Broad Oak attended. On arrival, firefighters found a large fire in the roof space of the property. Firefighters used two Hose Reels, three main jets and 1 in 7 foam to extinguish the fire. Firefighters also used eight Breathing Apparatus and Thermal Imaging Cameras to locate the source of the fire. All persons had evacuated from the property before firefighters had arrived.
A fire investigation is due to take place later today.
