For several years we have published brief information about current and recent incidents on our website. Often this only included a location, date and time and the initial description of the incident.
Since then, the way we share information has changed and we want to improve the quality of information we provide. We also need to ensure we are meeting rules around handling information from third parties such as the police and ambulance services.
We have therefore taken the decision to replace the current and recent incidents page with a feed from our main Twitter account. This includes retweets from our Sussex Control Centre and our Chief Fire Officer.
We have a number of other Twitter and Facebook accounts you may also wish to follow.
We will also continue to update our news pages and journalists can contact the press office with any questions.
