Mains powered smoke alarms
In the event of a fire, a smoke alarm can provide extra time needed to escape. Early detection of fire can also minimise the potential damage caused to property.

Fire Investigation dog
The Fire Investigation Dog Team works as part of the Arson Reduction Team, a partnership between East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service and Sussex Police set up to target arson in our community.

Shops and businesses are advised to keep a look out for any suspicious activity and report anything of concern to security staff and police. Read the safety advice which must be borne in mind.
