The Health & Safety Executive has produced a leaflet for duty holders responsible for sites storing dangerous substances as defined by the NAMOS Regulations.

On the 6 April 2013, regulatory amendments reduced the duplication of different notification regimes for dangerous substances, as a consequence of the revocation of the Notification of Installations Handling Hazardous Substances Regulations 1982 and the 2002 amendment Regulations (NIHHS).
