At 00.04hrs on 28 September, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to a house fire in Nettlesworth Lane, Heathfield.
Six fire engines were called to attend with firefighters using two main jets to tackle the fire.
As of 00.52hrs the incident is being scaled down to four fire engines.

As of 2.54am the incident was being scaled down to two fire engines.
At 4.08am steady progress had been made, with crews damping down hotspots.
At 4.47am all firefighting operations were complete, a reinspection is due to take place this morning to check the building and the incident has been left with Sussex Police who were also in attendance.

Police are investigating a fire that occurred at a house in Nettlesworth Lane, Heathfield, about 12.10am on Sunday 28 September.
