We were called at 9.51pm on 13 November to reports of a fire in a first floor maisonette in St Marks Close, Bexhill, affecting the first floor and the roof space.
This was a multi agency response and firefighters were mobilised from Bexhill, Hastings The Ridge and Bohemia Road, Eastbourne, Pevensey and Burwash.
At the height of the incident 6 fire engines were in attendance, an Aerial Ladder Platform and the Incident Control Unit.
Update 6:30am
As of 1.50am last night there were no signs of hotspots. A reinspection is taking place this morning.
A fire investigation is also due to take place today.
Sussex Police are on scene.
