East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is attending an industrial building fire.
We were called at 12.38 today, 10 August 2023, to reports of a fire at a building in Waterworks Road, Hastings.
As of 2.25pm we have sent 8 fire engines to the scene and the Aerial Ladder Platform.
We are working with other agencies and partners.
There are no reports of injuries.
People are urged to avoid the area.
There is currently a large plume of smoke so we are advising all nearby residents to close windows & doors.

Steady progress is being made. The incident is being scaled back to 6 fire engines.
