Santa returns with a new sleigh to spread some Christmas cheer in Eastbourne!

Santa returns this year and some of our firefighters will be heading out with the brand new sleigh in Eastbourne! They will be spreading Christmas cheer and raising money for The Firefighters Charity at roughly 6:00pm to 8:00pm between Friday 13th and 23rd December.

With thanks to the help of local businesses, and the elves working hard, we are very excited to unveil the sleigh ready for its travels in and around the Eastbourne area this festive season.

The route is currently planned as follows:

Friday 13th December:            Old Town (Central Avenue area)

Sat 14th December:                 Sovereign Harbour area

Sun 15th December:                Roselands (Ringwood Road area)

Mon 16th December:               Old Town (Cherry Garden Road area)

Tue 17th December:                Roselands (Bridgemere area)

Wednesday 18th December:   No route currently planned due to weather.

Thursday 19th December:       Seaside with our fire cadets (Firle Road and Latimer Road area)

Friday 20th December:            Pevensey (Priory Road onto Pevensey High Street and Westham area)

Saturday 21st December:        Town Centre area

Sunday 22nd December:         Eastbourne Fire Station 4pm to 6pm (details below) and then Stone Cross area.

Monday 23rd December:         Seaside area

We don’t want Santa to disappoint anyone and while we’ll make every effort to visit the advertised areas, please be advised the route may be affected by weather or incident callouts. You can check here for updates and we’ll do our best to provide the latest information, but there may be times we can’t offer immediate updates. Rest assured, we’ll stay in touch with the crew and Santa’s plans as much as possible!

Festive Afternoon

On Sunday 22nd December, join us for a Festive Afternoon at Eastbourne Fire Station from 4pm to 6pm. There will be festive lights and music and it will be a wonderful opportunity for families to meet Santa, admire his new sleigh, and enjoy some festive activities!
