We were called at 9.32pm on 26 February to reports of a single vehicle fire at Dyke Road, South Roundabout, Hove.
Members of the public were asked to avoid the area due to road closures in place.
One fire engine was in attendance from Hove. Firefighters used breathing apparatus and one hosereel jet to put the fire out.
There were no casualties reported.
Sussex Police were also in attendance.
