We were called at 4.30pm on 25 August to reports of a wildfire at farmland in Town Littleworth Road, #Barcombe.
Four fire engines and two landrovers are at the scene including support from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
Please avoid the area and local residents please close windows and doors.
Crews are using two hosereel jets and four wildfire beaters to tackle the fire.
Update:
As of 6.25pm the wildfire is reported to be out.
Crews are currently damping down.
There are no casualties reported.
